Peninsula Tour

TSee for yourself how this spectacular southern tip of Africa became known as the 'Fairest Cape'. The tour begins with a stroll through the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Then drive past the pristine beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno - currently the hottest real estate in the world - to Hout Bay, a functioning harbour and heart of the local crayfish industry (optional Seal Island cruise, time permitting). Drive along the breathtakingly scenic Chapman's Peak Drive, around the Altantic Seaboard. After a stop for lunch (own account), it's on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and its scenic viewing point. The spectacular sea and mountain views are reason enough to make the 66km trip from Cape Town. Amid the rocky landscape - home to mountain zebra, eland and ostriches - blooms magnificent Cape flora. Continue along the coastline to the beautiful Boulders Beach where you can sit among a colony of penguins. Our last stop is the naval port of Simon's Town, the country's third oldest European settlement.

Savour the rugged natural beauty of the Cape's west coast. Visit the West Coast National Park, and the Postberg National Park. Marvel at its world-famous carpet of wild flowers. Visit the fishing ports of Langebaan and Saldanha Bay before enjoying a guide tour of an ostrich farm.

Wonderland of the four Passes

A soul-stirring meander along the road-less-travelled and a wonderful alternative to the winelands tour. Enjoy unsurpassed views of this region's lush valleys, farms and vineyards as we take the Great Circle Road through rugged mountainous terrain, soaring over Sir Lowry's Pass, Viljoen's Pass, Franschhoek Pass and Helshoogte Pass. In spring visitors are treated to the sight of hundreds of wild flowers. At Franschhoek we visit the Huguenot Memorial, before stopping at the grand Boschendal Manor House, en route to Stellenbosch, where we stop for lunch (own account). Before heading home we witness the flapping of tiny wings at Butterfly World.

Walk to Freedom Tour - 1/2 day

Experience the raw energy of this 'rainbow nation' in one remarkable day. Begin with a tour of the vibrant Bo-Kaap (Malay Quarter) where the breezes carry the scent of spicy curries, and then on to the District Six Museum, which dramatically documents the tragic disintegration of this once-vibrant community by the apartheid government. From here, tour Langa, the oldest apartheid housing scheme in the Western Cape townships and visit the Tsoga Environmental Gardens. Continue to Guguletu, gaining invaluable insights into the cultures and history of each township. Then sample a slice of township life with a visit to an informal spaza shop, a shebeen (pub) and hostels. Contemplate this land of contrasts over lunch at the tourist mecca of the V&A Waterfront (own account). Thus ends the half-day tour. Full day clients embark on a three-hour cruise and tour of Robben Island and walk in the footsteps of our most famous citizen, Nelson Mandela.

Southern Cross Evening Tour

An utterly magical tour. Witness the majesty of the setting sun amid a blazing sky, whilst sipping a glass of sparkling wine on the beachfront at Bloubergstrand. As darkness descends, we head for one of Cape Town's more popular restaurants for dinner, then drive up Signal Hill for a night-cap while tracing the Southern Cross twinkling above an illuminated Table Mountain.

Night Harbour Cruise

Thousands of tourists drink in the splendour of Cape Town from atop Table Mountain, yet few savour the sight of the Mother City from the sea. From Table Bay, gaze at Table Mountain enfolding the city, then head out to sea and witness the quintessential African sunset on the horizon. We return to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which provides a wonderful view of the twinkling night-scape, and end the evening with dinner in one of Cape Town's more popular restaurants. Price includes onboard sparkling wine and cooldrinks, but not dinner drinks.

Great White Shark Cage Diving

Depart this morning by 06h00 and travel to Gansbaai. Enjoy a light breakfast before proceeding to Dyer Island. You have the choice of a surface view, snorkel or scuba dive near this magnificent predator in its natural feeding ground.
